Diabetes Education Classes Offered
Central Utah Clinic is offering American Diabetes Association certified education classes throughout the year. The classes provide the knowledge to empower people to make wise choices and dispel fear by offering the latest information about diabetes. Instructors include certified educators, an exercise physiologist, a dietitian, physical therapists and a pharmacist.
Class fees are covered by most insurances. Classes meet in the Internal Medicine Classroom at 1055 N 500 W, Suite 212, Provo, UT.
Specific topics include - diabetes disease process, nutrition management, physical activity, medications, monitoring, goal setting, psychological adjustment, problem solving, prevent-detect-treat acute complications, and prevent-detect-treat chronic complications through risk reduction.
