Simply put, endocrinology is the study of endocrine glands. Endocrine glands are a group of glands in the body which secrete hormones. Patients with thyroid problems and other gland problems should see Drs. Maturlo or Arora. These physicians specialize in this field with services including growth hormone therapy and thyroid ultrasound.
